born: 1960 Steven pippin was an english photographer and sculptor. he studied at the university of brighton. he work in berlin on a scholarship and was nominated a turner prize in 1999. he most used objects such as bath tubs, wardrobes and washing machines converted so that they function as cameras. Steven Pippin converted a bath tub into a pin-hole camera and in 1985 he started experimenting with washing machines.

I made two exposures . The pinhole camera I made was already metal so I didnt need to make an aluminion strip and make the hole from that I just used my container that i had. my first exposure idid turned out really good but the second one was mostly black because I think I left it in the developer too. in my second one you can sort of see the buildings but its not that clear. next time I will expose it for a shorter time and put it in the developer shorter. My first expose is clear and is more of an accurate picture then the second one. I exposed it for 25 seconds, I think I exposed this picture for the correct amount of time, but it has splash marks from the developer.
