At the time I though this project was kind of difficult because I thought photography was just taking photographs but in the photo safari you had to think about what u were taking a picture of. I also didn't find it easy to take an image of a triangle so I had to use something with a point and take the picture cutting some of the image out of the image so it looked like a triangle.
ipodography
I was happy with the way my photos turned out in this project. I enjoyed taking photographs on the ipod because it was easy, you can focus it easy and its quite straight forward. We took the photos around the school I think this was very sucsessful becsue the school it colourful and it was a good landscape for the photographs. also it more interesting to take photographs of colourful things. the lines in the photos were very perspective.
Wrong
This task was about taking pictures that were 'wrong' witch was quite hard because none of the picturs I took seemed wrong, some were not good photos but not wrong. I think what I was thinking in what a bad photo look like to take an image was really more interesting then other photos look like and then become more interesting and unique. I like how some of the photos turned out.
Pin-hole cameras
the container I used for this project work really well because it was metal, so all I needed to do was make a hole in the container and tape for the shutter. The 1st one I did was blurry and not very clear and the second one I did look good but turned out black because I left it in the developer too long. The other one I did was clear but it had the water marks from the developer on it. I liked doing pin-hole cameras because it was a different way of taking photographs and I had never done it before.
photograms
a photogram is a camera-less images, you use light to make the exposer on light sensitive paper. you place objects onto the paper then expose the light so the objects shadow the paper and t creates the objects onto the image. in my photogram the page was covered with object but it wasn't too much because I used a range of big small and medium objects. the objects I used were distinctive. if I did it again I would use a opac object because I think it would look interesting.
photoshop
the first time I used photoshop was with the photograms I found I confusing but it wasn't that bad and it was interest to play with the colours.
chemigrams
We made the chemigrams with the blinds open and the lights on in our normal class. we put objects on light sensitive paper and put them near the window then we used delevloper and fix on the paper, i applied the developer and fix with a paintbrush and screwed up tissue. It was interesting to see the images after they had been exposed for 48 hours. the paper that was once white has fur into a light grey brown colour. the fix had a slight affect but the developer made a much darker colour.
